Who are the TriCats?
The University of Arizona TriCats Triathlon Team is a club team composed of a diverse group of student-athletes, ranging from prospective Olympic athletes to those who have never raced a triathlon.
The University of Arizona TriCats Triathlon Team seeks to assist members in realizing their full human, athletic, and academic potential through the discipline of triathlon.
How we make our Vision Statement a reality:
We offer structured training with experienced coaches, a quality team environment and access to the greater Tucson triathlon community.
We teach fundamental skills for triathlon to our new members, while assisting our more seasoned members in fine tuning and improving their existing skill set.
The TriCats are a true family, with no division between old and new, inexperienced and experienced, or elite athlete and amatuer athlete.
We promote academic excellence and are happy to provide tutoring and mentorship to our new members as they enter college.
We host great fundraiser events that not only benefit the TriCats, but also introduce the community to our great sport and raise money for charitable causes, such as the Challeneged Athletes Foundation.
